Jakarta, 9 June 2026 – InJourney Aviation Services (IAS), Indonesia’s leading integrated aviation services company, welcomed a delegation from the British Embassy Jakarta and the United Kingdom Government led by Naz Shah MP, UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Indonesia, for a courtesy meeting at IAS Headquarters in Sarinah Office Building, Jakarta.
The meeting was led by Muchdian Muchlis, Commercial Director of IAS, accompanied by the Commercial Group Heads of IAS. The discussion served as an important platform to strengthen dialogue between IAS and the UK Government, while exploring opportunities for future business collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships in the aviation services sector.
During the meeting, IAS presented its strategic priorities and long-term vision as a key player in Indonesia’s aviation ecosystem, highlighting its commitment to operational excellence, business transformation, capability development, and sustainable growth. The discussion also covered potential benchmarking initiatives with leading UK aviation industry players and explored avenues where British expertise could support IAS’s modernization and growth agenda.
Both parties exchanged views on opportunities to strengthen cooperation in aviation services, infrastructure development, operational best practices, innovation, and human capital development. The meeting also opened discussions on facilitating future benchmarking visits and executive-level engagements with prominent aviation companies and institutions in the United Kingdom.

The visit forms part of the broader UK–Indonesia Strategic Partnership and reinforces the shared commitment of both countries to deepen cooperation in trade, investment, and infrastructure. Through constructive dialogue and collaboration, IAS and UK stakeholders aim to unlock new opportunities that contribute to the advancement of the aviation industry in Indonesia and beyond.
